Description
We are seeking an experienced API and Integration Expert to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and managing APIs, with a strong background in Java, PostgreSQL, and cloud technologies, specifically AWS API Gateway and Azure API Management.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:Designed, developed, and maintained Java APIs and integrated them with customer and Youtap environments.Manage and optimize the deployment of APIs on cloud platforms, primarily AWS and Azure.Configure and manage API gateways on AWS and Azure for security, traffic management, analytics, and monitoring.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement integration solutions.Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API performance, security, and functionality.Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends in API development and cloud services.Document API development and management processes.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in API development and management.Proficiency in Java and experience with PostgreSQL.Extensive experience with AWS API Gateway and Azure API Management.Strong understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.Experience in implementing security and compliance best practices for APIs.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Preferred Qualifications:Certifications in AWS or Azure cloud services.Experience with other cloud services and database technologies.Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
